High-resolution multi-mode satellite atmospheric synchronization calibrator completes the first stage electrical survey of the launch site

[ Instrument R&D of Instrument Network ] The high-resolution multi-mode satellite is the highest resolution optical satellite in China’s space infrastructure planning and the first flight of a medium-sized agile remote sensing satellite public platform. It has a variety of agile imaging modes and greatly improves the efficiency of satellite image acquisition.
The satellite synchronous calibrator subsystem (referred to as "calibrator") was developed by the Optoelectronic Technology and Engineering Laboratory of the Optical Remote Sensing Research Center of Anguang Institute. It can obtain atmospheric information simultaneously with the main camera and in the same observation area. Atmospheric correction of camera images improves the quantitative level of remote sensing camera data.
From late May to early June, the high-scoring multimode satellite test team carried out electrical testing of the satellite launch site, with the purpose of evaluating its own electrical performance, verifying some optical performance, and confirming the digital transmission function of the wireless channel. The electric test personnel of the calibrator project group conducted a detailed and comprehensive interpretation of various types of test data of the calibrator, and compared key parameters with historical data.
The results show that the electrical performance of the calibrator and the optical performance of the test are in good agreement with historical test data. During the electrical survey, the chief designer of the calibrator took the lead to carry out the work such as the precise prism removal of the calibrator. All the summary work of the calibrator project team passed the overall review, and the work of the launch site was generally affirmed.
The work of the first stage of the launch site comes to an end. The satellite is about to transition and enter the next stage of testing and launch preparation.
