Weichai Power Project won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award

At the "National Science and Technology Awards Conference" on January 18, 2013, the key technology and industrialization of heavy-duty high-speed diesel engines developed by Weichai Power won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award . This technology has enabled China to successfully own a WP10/WP12 series of blue-shoulder heavy-duty high-speed diesel engines with complete independent intellectual property rights, which fills the gaps in domestic heavy-duty high-speed diesel engines and breaks the monopoly of foreign technologies. The main technical indicators such as engine dynamics, economy and safety are obviously better than the international advanced level of similar products. Since the success of research and development, the production and sales volume of Lanqing series diesel engines has ranked first in the world for the third consecutive year.
