Ren Hongjun: Internet of Things or New Opportunities for Instrumentation Industry Development

[China Instrument Network Instrument Conference] On October 18, the second meeting of the 7th Board of Directors of the China Instrument Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Association") was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. The vice presidents of 15 industry associations from across the country attended the meeting. The conference was organized by Henan Hanwei Electronics Co., Ltd.


The conference started around the two major themes of "transition innovation" and "strategic landing" of the association.

The conference listened to the report of the Association’s full-time vice chairman Li Yueguang’s ideas on key aspects of industry commonality and industry-to-industry collaboration, and heard a report from the association’s Deputy Secretary-General Zheng Jiansong’s work plan on the expert database of the Construction Association.

Ren Hongjun, vice chairman of the association and chairman of Hanwei Electronics, made a special report on the development of the Internet of Things at the conference. He pointed out that with the wider application of the Internet of Things in the industry, it will bring new opportunities for the development of the instrumentation industry in the future, and the integration of the Internet of Things and the instrumentation industry will become closer. To realize transformation and innovation in the instrumentation industry, it is necessary to jump out of the industry circle to see the industry and make efforts to build core competitiveness and build an industrial ecosystem.

The delegates unanimously reviewed and approved the "Work Program for Establishing the Expert Library of Instrument and Meter Industry Association" and also conducted in-depth discussion on how to realize the transformation and innovation of the association.

During the meeting, the participants also visited Henan Hanwei Electronics Co., Ltd. and witnessed the joint demonstration of the strong strategic cooperation signed by Chongqing Chuanyi Automation Co., Ltd. and Henan Hanwei Electronics Co., Ltd.

Motorcycles typically employ a wet clutch with the clutch riding in the same oil as the transmission. These clutches are usually made up of a stack of alternating plain steel and friction plates. Some plates have lugs on their inner diameters that lock them to the engine crankshaft. Other plates have lugs on their outer diameters that lock them to a basket that turns the transmission input shaft. A set of coil springs or a diaphragm spring plate force the plates together when the clutch is engaged.
On motorcycles the clutch is operated by a hand lever on the left handlebar. No pressure on the lever means that the clutch plates are engaged (driving), while pulling the lever back towards the rider disengages the clutch plates through cable or hydraulic actuation, allowing the rider to shift gears or coast. Racing motorcycles often use slipper clutches to eliminate the effects of engine braking, which, being applied only to the rear wheel, can cause instability.
