Compared with the National III engine, the National IV standard diesel engine can not only reduce the fuel consumption by 5-7%, but also reduce the discharge of 80% particulate matter (that is, PM), because the diesel fuel burns more fully. Qiao Yingbin's "SCR technology" simply means that the nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas are converted into nitrogen and water without pollution by the treatment liquid. This method can absorb 80% of the nitrogen oxides in the exhaust. At present, domestic heavy-duty diesel vehicle manufacturers mainly choose this technology to meet the national IV emission standards. However, for every new SCR system in the new car, the cost will increase by 1-2 million yuan.
