Just learned from the Haishu Second Detachment of Fujian Province that a fishing boat sank near the waters of Quanzhou Bay in the early hours of today (7th), and eight fishermen fell into the water. The Donghai Rescue Bureau dispatched helicopters and the Fujian Marine Police sent a rescue boat to the sea area to carry out search and rescue operations. As of now, 4 of the drowning fishermen have been rescued, including 2 deaths and 4 others missing.
It is understood that when the fishing boat went out to sea, the sea surface was very windy, causing the fishing boat to be overturned by big waves.
