High-end CNC machine tools to help upgrade petrochemical equipment

On March 22, the press conference of the 7th China CNC Machine Tool Exhibition (CCMT2012) was held in Beijing. According to Li Jingming, deputy secretary-general of the China Machine Tool Industry Association, the development of high-end technology products for numerically-controlled machine tools has increased the ability to guarantee related industries.

In an interview with the reporter, the secretary-general of the association, Wang Liming, stated that the machine tool industry has made breakthrough progress in providing equipment and services for key industries in the core manufacturing field, including providing technology and product support for related equipment in the petrochemical industry. Modern petrochemical equipment manufacturing has a high overall performance requirement for machine tools and equipment and is a typical high-end segment market.

After decades of development, domestic machine tool products have solved the problems from scratch, and the scale of the company's economy has grown from small to large. The machine tool industry strives to serve key downstream industries such as automobiles, petrochemical equipment, and military industries, and also serves strategic emerging industries. The development of the machine tool industry, especially CNC machine tools, will be strongly supported by downstream demand. Chen Huiren, deputy secretary-general of the association, said that the development of the machine tool industry has played a fundamental supporting role in improving and upgrading petrochemical equipment. The machine tool industry will actively communicate with the petrochemical industry and jointly promote the development of the industry.
