Domestic gasoline and diesel prices are expected to drop in May, June and July

On the 12th, the reporter learned from the Beijing Petroleum Distribution Industry Association that in May, the city's gasoline and diesel sales reached about 62 million tons, a decrease of 2.57% year-on-year. This is the second decline after the first year-on-year decline in April. In addition, yesterday, the rate of change in crude oil prices in the three places reappeared negative. The industry expects that the price adjustment window will open on July 11, and domestic gasoline and diesel prices are expected to drop in May, June and July.

Gasoline and diesel sales are not optimistic

Wang Shunzeng, secretary general of the Beijing Petroleum Distribution Industry Association, said that in May this year Beijing's total gasoline and diesel sales were about 620,000 tons, of which 355,300 tons were diesel and 267,700 tons were gasoline. From the perspective of average daily sales, the average daily gasoline and diesel sales in May were around 20,000 tons, an increase of approximately 600 tons from April. For the reasons for the increase, Wang Shunzeng believed that in May, there was one more working day than in April, and in the summer, the increase in electricity demand increased the sales of gasoline and diesel.

However, on the whole, compared with last year, the sales of gasoline and diesel in Beijing are not optimistic. On the one hand, the adjustment of the national economic structure, the slowdown of the national economy, and the impact of the “island effect” on the other hand, foreign vehicles Do not enter the Beijing area, generally choose to refuel in the surrounding areas, which will affect the sales of gasoline and diesel to a certain extent.

Next month or price adjustment window

The recent drop in international oil prices created an opportunity for the domestic retail price of gasoline and diesel to drop again. Yesterday, tests from social testing agencies such as Treasure Island and Anxon Siswang Energy showed that the prices of crude oil prices in the three places reappeared negative values, of which, the data measured by Anxious Siswang Energy was negative by 1.12%.

According to China's refined oil pricing mechanism, when the international oil price changes for more than 4% of the moving weighted average price for 22 consecutive working days, domestic oil prices can be adjusted accordingly. Treasure Island analyst Han Jingyuan predicted that due to the international economic and political situation, the change rate of crude oil in the three places will maintain a negative downward trend, and will approach the -4% control line around the 20th of this month, but given 22 working days The time limit will not open until July 11th.
