PPG Industries launches "Core Market Brand Promotion Plan Version 2.0"

Shanghai, October 23: PPG Industries Asia Pacific recently launched the "Core Market Branding Program 2.0 (CMBI 2.0)", the launching ceremony was held at its China headquarters in Shanghai. In this new version of the program, PPG will continue to focus on the core markets of the aerospace, automotive and aftermarket, commercial and residential construction, consumer goods, marine and offshore engineering, industrial and infrastructure, and solar and wind energy, with an emphasis on PPG differs from the three key elements of other competitors – innovation, sustainability and color.

In 2011, PPG launched the “Core Market Brand Promotion Program (CMBI)”, which aims to enhance the awareness of customers and the public about PPG's brand and business in the above core markets, and also launched a new corporate slogan – “ BRINGING INNOVATION TO THE SURFACE(TM)" (innovation, as you can see).

Launched in June 2011, CMBI is the largest brand marketing campaign launched by PPG in the past 40 years. It is also the largest regional marketing activity in the company's 129-year history.
